Nationality by birth: You have to share if you have a different nationality at the time of your birth.
Occupation: You need to share your occupation, your regular work, or your profession.
Phone number: Your contact number
Email ID: You need to share your email address. Note that this email address is the one that will be used by the authorities to communicate with you. An email address will typically have a local part that comes before the ’@’ symbol, an @ Symbol, and a domain part that follows the ’@’ symbol. This typically represents the mail server. We were required to share some information about our passports. We suggest that you should keep the following documents ready:
Your Passport number: The unique number of your passport. A passport number is a unique identifier assigned by the issuing country’s government to each passport.
Passport type: You need to mention whether the passport is ordinary, diplomatic, or official. In our case, it was an "ordinary" passport.
Expiry date: The date from which your passport is deemed invalid. Remember that the passport of the applicant must have a minimum validity of six months to apply for the Vietnamese eVisa.
Intended length of stay in Vietnam: The number of days you are planning to stay in the country. A Vietnamese eVisa is valid for 90 days.
Intended date of entry: The date on which you are planning to enter Vietnam. You must get an eVisa or visa before landing in the country. This is not applicable if you are from visa-free foreign nations.
Purpose of your visit: You must select the purpose of the visit from the dropdown list. Foreigners arriving in the country can remain there for a limited period. You can also engage in activities that do not constitute paid work.
Contact details and address of the hotel: Those of you planning to get a Vietnam eVisa must book your accommodation in advance. You are required to enter the address of the hotel/resort where you are planning to stay in the online application form. You also need to mention the city/province that you will be visiting while in Vietnam.
Inviting/ guaranteeing agency/ organization (if any): Those of you arriving in Vietnam on the invitation of an agency/organization must share the name and address of your agency/organization.
Under 14 years old accompanying children included in passport: You should share the information about the minor children who are traveling with you. This includes the name, date of birth, and gender. You will also need to upload the child’s photograph.
It was not applicable in our case as no minor was traveling with us.
Entry and Exit ports: You need to select the ports of entry/exit. Note that eVisa holders can enter/exit Vietnam only through a select airport, seaports, and land crossings.
Once you have entered the above-mentioned information, you are given the validity dates of your eVisa after processing. After that, you have to enter the captcha.
