From preparation to submission, it will cover everything you need to know to secure your ETA, ensuring a smooth journey to the beautiful island nation of Sri Lanka.
As a first step towards applying for your Sri Lankan ETA, we will suggest ensuring a stable internet connection and clearing your browser’s cache and cookies for a smooth online application experience. We recommend you research thoroughly to understand the application process in detail.
You must then decide on your preferred application method, with options including self-submission, third-party submission, submission at Sri Lanka Overseas Missions, submission at the Department of Immigration and Emigration (DI&E) head office in Colombo, or upon arrival at a Sri Lankan port of entry. This choice largely depends upon your convenience and situation.
If you are opting to apply for a Sri Lankan ETA all by yourself, then you can log in to the official portal of the country’s immigration department. As the first step for a Sri Lankan ETA, you are required to select your language of choice. Some of the available language options are English, Hindi, Arabic, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.
We encourage you to read the terms and conditions before starting your application. According to the terms and conditions, false and misleading information will result in the refusal of a Sri Lankan ETA or entry denial at the port of entry. This page also briefs about the documents required for your ETA, payment methods, and communication channels (mainly email and messages), among others.

There is actually no solution. Applicants can try again after a few minutes. In most instances, the application process is smooth.
