Steps for Online ABHA Health ID Card Registration

Using Aadhaar for Registration 

Ensure that the mobile number is linked to the Aadhaar for OTP verification. If it’s not linked, consult an ABDM-participating facility for guidance. 

With a linked mobile number, proceed to use the Aadhaar for the ABHA health ID registration. 

Registering with a Driving License 

Start the process by acquiring an enrollment number from the ABDM portal using the Driving License. Afterward, present the driving license to an affiliated ABDM facility for identity verification. Post-verification, the ABHA health ID is issued. 

Information Needed for Registration 

While no tangible documents are typically mandated for online ABHA registration, the following details might be required: 

Mobile number 

• Aadhaar number 
• PAN number 
• Driving License number (solely to obtain an enrollment number). 

Procedure to Generate Ayushman Bharat Health Account Number

Generating an Ayushman Bharat Health Account number is a straightforward process, typically taking about 10 minutes from start to finish. Here’s a step-by-step guide: 

Step 1: Navigate to the official NDHM website or initiate the ABHA mobile app. 

Step 2: Select the option “Go to create my ABHA number”. 

Step 3: Input a valid driving license, Aadhaar, or PAN number. 

Step 4: An OTP will be dispatched to the affiliated mobile number. This OTP needs to be entered for verification. 

Step 5: Subsequently, key in your mobile number. An OTP will be sent to your phone for validation. 

Step 6: Upon mobile number verification, the National Health Authority form will be displayed. Here, enters requisite personal information, such as name, age, gender, and email address. 

Step 7: Post submission, the ABHA ID will be available for download. With this ID, users can sign in and access the spectrum of services provided under ABHA. 

ABHA Address

Citizens can create a special "ABHA address" that is similar to an email ID, ensuring data security. This will have a password. This acts as an added layer of security, reinforcing the platform’s dedication to data protection.
